Explain with the help of an activity that metal are good conductor of heat?

♦ As we know Metals are good conductors of both heat and electricity.

♦ Here is a simple experiment to test whether metals are good conductors or not.

♦ First Let's take a bulb and metal wire.

♦ If we connect bulb to the a metal wire and connect wire's end through the battery then,then bulb will glow. which shows that metal is good conductor of heat and electricity.

♦ Now take a wooden scale instead of  metal wire. And if we connect bulb through a wooden scale,then bulb will not glow. So,this shows it is bad conductor of heat and electricity.
