process 1 when salt is applied to raw mango it the mango shrinks due to the phenomenon of osmosis...as the salt solution is hypertonic when compared to mango
2) dry raisin would swell due to the phenomenon of imbibition..as the medium around the cell is hypotonic when compared to the raisin
