it is actually the amount of water vapour air can hold at that temperature.

eg. air holds maximum 12gram water at 10 degrees Celsius.

but at this point it is holding 6 gram water at 12 degree Celsius

so the maximum amount of water that can be hold at a temperature is what you are asking for.
