Solids have the highest forces of attraction b/w its particles and as the temperature increases the kinetic energy of particles increase which cause them to move at a faster rate and due to his they get away from each other and the inter particular space increase thus turning solid to liquid and the same process happens when we boil liquid the particles start moving at an even higher pace so the force of attraction decreases and makes liquid to gas
