we know From pythogreas rule
AC^2 =AB^2 +BC^2
here Ac=hypotenuse
AB, BC are sides
As it is right angled isosceles
AB=BC
then
AC^2 =AB^2+AB^2
AC^2=2AB^2
AC=root2 AB
given Ac=8
8=root2 AB
AB=8/root2 or 4root2
BC=8/root2 or 4 root2are sides
