Let x = 0.00454545......---( 1 )

multiply equation ( 1 ) , with

100 , we get

100x = 0.454545.....---( 2 )

multiply ( 2 ) with 100 we get

10000x = 45.4545.....( 3 )

Subtract ( 2 ) from ( 3 ) , we get

9900x = 45

x = 45/9900

x = 1/220

Therefore ,

x = 0.004545...= 1/220 [ p/q form ]
