0.99999..... \\ \\ \sf let \: x = 0. 999...(i) \\ \\ \sf 10x = 9.999....(ii) \\ \\ \sf subtracting \: (i) \: from \: (ii) - \\ \\ \sf 10x - x = 9 - 0 \\ \\ \sf 9x = 9 \\ \\ \sf x = \frac{9}{9} \\ \\ \bf = 1

Hence, the answer is 1.
