express -2/3 as a rational number with denominator as 12

since 3*4=12 then....
  \frac{ - 2}{3}  \times  \frac{4}{4}  =  \frac{ - 8}{12}

we will get -2/3 as a rational no with denominator by multiplying 4 to its numerator and denominator i.e.answer will be -8/12
