express -3/5 as a rational number with denominator by 20

Here is yr answer.....


=> -3/5

By expressing... as the rational no. where, q = 20

=> -3×4/5×4

=> -12/20

To get denominator 20 we must multiply 4 into -3/5.

Therefore ,

 \frac{ - 3 \times 4}{5 \times 4}  \\  \\  =  \frac{ - 12}{20}

Hence , the required fraction is -12/20.
