As 5x4=20 and we want the denominator as 20 we will multiply 5 (denominator) by 4 as we are multiplying 5 as a denominator we will always multiply the numerator also by the same number. Here we are multiplying the denominator by 4 and numerator also by 4 the answer will be 12/20. We can also check it by doing it in simplest form.
