express 6 whole 1/4 as a fraction

4×6+1/4
=24+1/4
=25/4

6 1/4 is already a fraction, it's in mixed fraction, it's improper fraction is 25/4

STEPS -
<> Multiply the denominator with the whole number
<> Add the numerator with the result
<> Express the fraction as - the addition as the numerator and the previous denominator as denominator
