We have express -8/9 as rational number with numerator 40....

so, 40÷( -8)

= -40/8 ( Standard form)

=-5

NOW, WE WILL MUNTIPLY -8/9 ( BOTH NUMERATOR AND DENOMINATOR) WITH -5

=( -8× -5)/ (-9×-5)

= 40/ 45
