Let X = 0.32


Then X = 0.3232 -------(1)


Multiply equation (1) by 100 we get,

Subtract equation (1) from equation (2) we get,


100X = 32.3232

X = 0.3232

X = 32/99



Hence,



0.32 ( bar on 32) is of the form of 32/99 which is in the form of P/Q.
