Let x be = 1.27272727... --------(1)

Multiplying both sides by 100 since 2 numbers are repeating.

100 × x = 100 × 1.27272727...

100x = 127.27272727... --------(2)

Subtract equation (1) from equation (2)

100x - x = 127.27272727... - 1.27272727...

99x = 126

x = 126/99

x = 42/33

x = 14/11
