Step-by-step explanation:

given that 2+3i/2-i (multiply and divide with 2+i)

=(2+3i)(2+i)/(2-i)(2+i)

=(2+3i)(2+i)/4-i^2. [(a+b)(a-b)=a^2-b^2]

=4+2i+6i+3i^2/4-i^2 (put i^2=-1)

=4+8i-3/4-(-1)

=1+8i/5

=(1/5)+(8/5)i

so here a=(1/5) and b=(8/5)

thanks
