Given:

We have a ratio which is 1.5:1

To Find:

Find the simplest form?

Step-by-step explanation:

  • We have a ratio which is 1.5:1
  • For converting the given ratio to the simplest form first of all we will e remove the point in the numerator term.
  • We know we can remove the point in the numerator term by just multiplying the denominator by 10.

        \frac{1.5}{1}=\frac{15}{10}

  • Now we will divide both numerator and denominator by the HCF of the numerator are denominator.
  • HCF of  15 and 10 is 5.
  • Thus dividing the fraction by 5 we will get.

       \frac{15}{10} =\frac{3}{2}

Hence, the simplest form of ratio is \frac{3}{2}.
