We all know that tan is reciprocal of cot a . (Cosec a )^2=1+cot^2a
Cosec a =(1+cot^2a)^1/2
And sin a =1/cosec a so sin a =1/1+cot^2a
Sec a =1+tan^2a so sec a will be under root 1+tan^2a.
sec a =(cot^2a+1)^(1/2)/(cot a)
