Given:

3 x - y = 5

==> - y = 5 - 3 x

==>  y = - ( 5 - 3 x )

==> y = 3 x - 5

Thus y = 3 x - 5

This is the answer

Here is ur answer...

3x-y=5
=> -y = 5-3x
=> y = -(5-3x)
=> y = -5+3x
=> y = 3x-5 (Ans)
