Express y in term of x, given that 2x – 5y = 7. Check whether the point (–3, –2) lies on the given line.

This point dosent fall on the line since when we substitue the points that x = -3 and y = -2.
We get 2(-3) - 5(-2)
= -6 + 10
= -4
And this dosent equal to 7.
