In RBCs, there is a structure known as haemoglobin which carries 3 molecules of oxygen, if there is a deficiency of haemoglobin then of course we face lackness of oxygen in our bodies.

Due to the deficiency of haemoglobin in blood, its oxygen carrying capacity decreases . As a result the production of energy by oxidation will become slower . One would fall sick and would feel fatigue most of the time .
