extraction of zinc from zincblend and ZnCO3????

Ans: we can extract zinc from zinc blend or calamine by process of calcination firstly,
ZnCO3 ----> ZnO + CO2

Then, reduction of metal oxide by carbon or with aluminium

ZnO + C ---> Zn + CO

Therefore, zinc is obtained.
