Extremely desperate for an answer. Please help me. Worth 50 points.

Consider the following equation.
-(3/2)^x + 12 = 2x - 3.

Approximate the solution to the equation above using three iterations of successive approximation. Use the graph below as a starting point.

A. x = 71/16
B. x = 33/8
C. x = 69/16
D. x = 35/8

Thank you a thousand times to whoever helps, I'm really struggling in math.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The solution is the x-value of the point of intersection of two graphs.

as per the graphs the x should be near 4.5.

Now find the value of the answer

Option A = x=\frac{71}{16}= 4.4375

Option B = x=\frac{33}{8}= 4.125

Option C = x=\frac{69}{16}=4.3125

Option D = x=\frac{35}{8}= 4.375

Therefore the value nearest to 4.5 is 4.375

So the option A is correct.
