\textbf{f + 3p = 1} ____(1)

And

\textbf{f + 2p = 2} ______(2)

Subtract (1) and (2)

(f + 3p) - (f + 2p) = 1 - 2

f + 3p - f - 2p = -1

\textbf{p = -1}

Put this value in (1)

f + 3(-1) = 1

f - 3 = 1

f = 1 + 3

\textbf{f = 4}
