When a charged particle of charge 'q' is projected into a magnetic field of field induction 'B' with a velocity 'V', then the force acts on it is,

FB −→− = q (V⃗ × B⃗ ) ⇒FB = qVB sin θ

Where, θ = angle between the velocity and magnetic field.

Here in the question charged particle is projected parallel to the direction of magnetic field direction. So, the force acts on it is Zero.

i.e. FB = 0 N
