We know that India is a secular state. Secular state means a place in which no religion particularly matters. In these type of places all people have rights to follow and profess their own religion and no one can stop them by doing so. In India the right to religion is considered a very important right in the Indian Constitution. In India no one is discriminated on the basis of caste and religion. This is a right too in our Constitution. This is also applicable to right to religion. The right to religion reflects the secular nature of the Indian Constitution. This right indicates the secularism in India.
