\red{\textbf{Answer :-}} 5

Explanation:

GIVEN :-

The angle of two mirrors = 60°

Assume , angle = q

so,

Number of images formed when two plane mirrors are kept at an angle q degrees is:

 \LARGE\frac{360}{q} - 1

i.e, \: \LARGE\frac{360}{60} - 1

= 6 - 1 = 5

hence , 5 images will be formed, if two plane mirrors are kept at an angle of 60 degree to each other.

\red{\textbf{More \: information}} :-

  • A plane mirror always forms a virtual image (behind the mirror).
  • The image and object are the same distance from a flat mirror, the image size is the same as the object size, and the image is upright.
