Given : f(x)=2x+5

To find : \dfrac{f(x+2)-f(2)}{x}

Solution :

If f(x)=2x+5

So, f(x+2)=2(x+2)+5=2x+4+5=2x+9

So, our expression would be :

\dfrac{f(x+2)-f(2)}{x}=\dfrac{2x+9-(2x+5)}{x}\\\\=\dfrac{2x+9-2x-5}{x}\\\\=\dfrac{4}{x}

Hence, the required value is \dfrac{4}{x}
