Given : Function is f(x) = √ x + 3

To find : Range and domain of f(x)

Solution :

Domain is the set of all the input values ( or the value of x ) for which a function is definitely.

We know that square root function is defined only for non negative values.

x + 3 ≥ 0

x ≥ -3

So the domain of f(x) = [ -3 , ∞ ).

Range of a function is the set of all the possible output values ( or the values of y ).

We know that square root function can given output only non negative values.

Range of f(x) = [ 0 , ).
