3x-27*3y

=3x-81y

=3(x-27y)

tujiajing2003: you just put all the number in front of your unknown letter and simplify the number, you will get 3x-81y. Then, you can see the see that there is the same number inside 3x and 81y. That is they all have a number 3. So, you just take out 3 from both terms, and after that, you will get your factorize​​ answer that is 3(x-27y).
