Question:-

Factorize 1 + 16x + 64x²

Answer:-

By rearranging,

64x² +16x + 1

By using the identity let us solve the question.

Identity to use :-

(a+b)² = a² + 2b + b²

  • a = 8x
  • b = 1

➵ (8x)² + 2(8x)(1) + (1)²

➵ (8x+)²

➵ (8x+1)(8x+1)

More identities:-

(a-b)² = a² - 2ab + b²

a²-b² = (a+b)(a-b)

(x+a)(x+b) = x² + x(a+b) + ab

(a+b+c)² = a² + b² + c² + 2ab + 2bc + 2ca

Hope it helps!

Have a great day!!
