Factorise -

1 - 4a² + 4ab -

Solution -

1 - 4a² + 4ab - b²

=> 1 - ( 4a² - 4ab + )

=> 1 - [ ( 2a )² + ( b )² - 2 ( 2a )( b ) ]

=> 1 - [ 2a - b ] ²

=> 1² - ( 2a - b )²

=> ( 1 + 2a - b )( 1 - 2a + b ) .

Answer -

=> ( 1 + 2a - b )( 1 - 2a + b ) .
