By Quadratic formula.
X = -(b) ±√b²-4ac/2a.
A= 10, B=-9, C= -7.
X = -(-9)±√(-9)²-4*10*(-7)/2*10.
X = 9±√81+280/20.
X = 9±√361/20.
X = 9±19/20.
X = 9+19/20.
X = 28/20.
X = 7/5.
X = 9-19/20.
X = -10/20.
X = -1/2.
