Hope u like my process.
=====================

-->(2a + b) ² - 6a - 3b - 4

= (2a +b)² - 3(2a +b) - 4

= (2a+b)² - 4(2a+b) +(2a +b) - 4

=(2a +b){(2a+b) - 4} +1{(2a+ b) - 4}

= (2a + b - 4)(2a + b +1)
