Step-by-step explanation:

2 {x}^{2} + 13x + 20 \\ = 2 {x}^{2} + 8x + 5x + 20 \\ = 2x(x + 4) + 5(x + 4) \\ = (x + 4)(2x + 5)

Now, I am going to divide :-

2 {x}^{2} + 13x + 20 \div (x + 4) \\ = (x + 4)(2x + 5) \div (x + 4) \\ = 2x + 5

Because, x+4 and x+4 will cancel each othet.
