2x^2 - 23x + 30 = 0
=> 2x^2 - 20x - 3x + 30 = 0
=> 2x(x - 10) - 3(x-10) = 0
=> (2x - 3)(x - 10) = 0
x = 10 and 3/2
=> 2x^2 - 20x - 3x + 30 = 0
=> 2x(x - 10) - 3(x-10) = 0
=> (2x - 3)(x - 10) = 0
x = 10 and 3/2

By middle term splitting method :-
2x square - 20x - 3x +30 =0
2x(x - 10) -3(x - 10) =0
(x - 10) (2x - 3) = 0
1. x - 10 = 0
x = 10
2. 2x - 3 = 0
2x = 3
x = 3/2
So, the two factors are : x = 10 and x = 3/2

2x square - 20x - 3x +30 =0
2x(x - 10) -3(x - 10) =0
(x - 10) (2x - 3) = 0
1. x - 10 = 0
x = 10
2. 2x - 3 = 0
2x = 3
x = 3/2
So, the two factors are : x = 10 and x = 3/2
