Factorise 2x² + x²+x-15​

Answer:

3x^2 +x -15

-15×3= -45

So,

Hence we cannot factorise...

But we can solve it by using quadartic formula.

Where,a=3,b=1,c=15

D= b²-4ac

= 1²-4×3×15

= 1-180

= -179

x = -b+-√D/2a

= (-1+-√-179)/2×3

= (-1+-√-179)/6

= (-1+√-179)/6 or, (-1-√-179)/6
