factorise 3 x² -x-4​

Answer:

3x^2-x-4

=3x^2+3x-4x-4

=3x(x+1) -4(x+1)

=(3x-4) (x+1)

3x-4=0

x=4/3.........1st root

x+1=0

x=-1......... 2nd root

so, the roots of the equation are 4/3 and -1.
