Answer:

x = -5/3 and x= -2

Step-by-step explanation:

∴ 3x²+11x+10 = 0

∴ 3x²+6x+5x+10 = 0

∴ 3x(x+2) +5(x+2)=0

∴ (3x+5) (x+2) =0

∴ 3x= -5 and x= -2

∴ x=-5/3 and x= -2

Hey mate !! Here you go :-

________________________________________________

We have,

3x^{2} + 11x+10

Aim : To factorise the given expression

Strategy : To use Middle Term Splitting

Here the coefficient of x^{2} is 3

So let's multiply the last term (10) by 3

Now we need to apply Middle term splitting,

We need two numbers such that,

It's product is 30 and sum is 11

So that is 6 and 5..

Now let us solve by splitting the middle term (11x)

3x^{2} +6x+5x+10

Now,take common

3x(x+2)+5(x+2)

(3x+5)(x+2) = answer
