What are the advantages and disadvantages of black soil for agriculture?

The advantage of black soil is that it has high moisture content & also full of organic matter making it suitable to grow plantation crops as cotton, tobbaco ,sugarcane.

The disadvantage is that it becomes sticky when wet, it becomes difficult for ploughing so it should be ploughed before raining.
