4x^2 + 8x +3
=4x^2 + 2x + 6x + 3 { 2x+6x=8x and 2x×6x=12x^2}
=2x(2x+1) + 3(2x+1)
=(2x+3) (2x+1)

Given,

  • 4x^2+8x+3 is given.

To find,

  • We have to factorize the given quadratic equation.

Solution,

We can simply factorize the given quadratic equation by using the method of splitting the middle term.

                = 4x^2+8x+3

                = 4x^2 +(2+6)x+3

                = 4x^2+2x+6x+3

Taking 2x common from the first two terms and 3 commons from the last two terms, we get

                = 2x(2x+1) +3(2x+1)

Taking (2x+1) common, we get

                = (2x+1)(2x+3)

Hence, the factors of 4x^2+8x+3 are (2x+1)(2x+3).
