6x^2 - 29 x+ 8

first find its roots by using ,

x = - b +- √( b^2 - 4ac ) / 2a

here , a = 6 , b = - 29 ,
c = 8

and then convert them into factors .

x = - ( - 29 ) +- √ ( 841 - 192 ) / 12

x = { 29 +- √649 } / 12

12x = 29 +- √649

12x = 29 + √649 , 29 - √649

12x - ( 29 + √649 ) , 12x - ( 29 - √649 )

hence,

6x^2 - 29x + 8

={12x-(29 + √649)} {12x - (29-√649)}
