\textbf{Hey mate! }

\textbf{Solution:}

We will use the following identity,

➠ x³ - y³ - 3x²y + 3xy² = (x - y)³

Given,

➠ 8a³ - y³ - 12x²y + 6xy²

⇒ 2a³ - y³ - 3(2a)²(y) + 3(2a)(y)²

⇒(2a - y)³

⇒(2a - y)(2a - y)(2a - y)
