L. C. M of 96 and 360 is

96 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 = 25 x 3
360 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3 x 5 = 23 x 32 x 5
=> LCM (96, 360) = 25 x 32 x 5 = 1440

Find the prime factorization of 96
96 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3
Find the prime factorization of 360
360 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 × 5
To find the gcf, multiply all the prime factors common to both numbers:

Therefore, GCF = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3
GCF = 24
