a² + 4ab + 3b² = a² + ab + 3ab + 3b²
a(a + b) + 3b(a + b) = (a + 3b) * (a + b)

a^2+4ab+3b^2
=a^2+4ab+4b^2-b^2
=(a+2b)^2-b^2
=(a+2b+b)(a+2b-b) [a^2-b^2=(a+b)(a-b)]
=(a+3b)(a+b) Answer.
