 Best Answer:  a^2 - b^2 ≡ (a + b)(a - b)

a^2 - b^2 + ac - bc
= (a^2 - b^2) + (ac - bc)
= (a + b)(a - b) + c(a - b)
= (a - b)[(a + b) + c]
= (a - b)(a + b + c)
