------>>>>Here is your answer<<<<--------

➾2 {x}^{2}  - x - 6 = 0

➾2 {x}^{2}  - 3x + 2x - 6 = 0

➾2x(x - 3) + 2(x - 3) = 0

➾(2x + 2)(x - 3) = 0

➾2x + 2 = 0

➾2x =  - 2

➾x =  - 1

➾x - 3 = 0

➾x = 3

2 {x}^{2}  - x - 6 = 0 \\ 2 {x}^{2}  - 4x + 3x - 6 = 0 \\ 2x(x - 2) + 3(x - 2) = 0 \\ (x - 2)(2x + 3) = 0 \\ x - 2 = 0 \: and \: 2x + 3 = 0 \\ x = 2 \: and \: x =  -  \frac{3}{2}
