Simply take out the common terms!!

Here's the solution :

i)  {6x}^{3} - 8 {x}^{2}

on \: taking \: {2x}^{2} common

 {2x}^{2} (3x - 4)

So, the roots are :
 {2x}^{2} = 0
3x - 4 = 0

.........................

ii) 35 {a}^{3} b^{2}c + 42ab^{2} {c}^{2}

on \: taking \: 7a {b}^{2}c \: common

7a {b}^{2}c(5a^{2} + 6c)

So, the roots are

 7a{b}^{2} c = 0
5 {a}^{2} + 6c \: = 0
