Factorise p2+6p+8 please

here is your answer

to factorise ( using splitting of middle terms)

p^2 + 6p + 8

p^2 + 4p + 2p +8

p ( p + 4) +2.( p + 4)

so,

( p + 2) ( p + 4 ) is the factor

in this type of factorisation , u hv to split the middle term into 2 nos. such that it's sum is the middle term and product is the product of the number in first and third term
