Factorise -

(x² + 4) - 2a - a² - 5

{\large{\underbrace{\underline{\bf{Answer:-}}}}} \\

(x² + 4) - 2a - a² - 5

x² + 4 - 2a - a² - 5 -- Eliminate the brackets.

x² - 2a - a² - 5 + 4 --Subtract the numbers and the like terms.

x² - 2a - a² - 1

Now, all the terms are unlike and so the operations cannot be taken further. So the final answer is x² - 2a - a² - 1

Hope this helps uh! ♡
