The correct answer is "x= -1/2" and "x= -3".

Step-by-step explanation:

The \ given \ equation \ is:\\2x^2+7x+3=0\\On \ factorizing \ the \ above \ equation,we \ get\\2x^2+6x+x+3=0\\2x(x+3)+1(x+3)=0\\(2x+1)(x+3)=0\\2x+1=0\\2x=-1\\x=-\frac{1}{2} \\Or,\\x+3=0\\x=-3
